Circus girl forced to swim with piranha

What I wonder is, what sort of sick people watch this stuff and enjoy it ? There are a lot of sick people in this world and to think enough of them get off on this type of thing is disgusting. There is no way everyone just thought it was an act the whole time.

The Worst Foods in America

I have been trying to eat better and one of the best things we can do is cut out junk food. This article contains some of the worst foods. It is shocking to me how much fat and calories are in some of the “healthy” foods we order. I have been having oatmeal for breakfast and eating more fruit in an effort to improve my health. The older I get the more I realize how important it is.

Study Finds Carcinogenics in ‘Organic’ Products

This article discusses a study that found carcinogens in “organic products”. The products they list are shampoos, soaps, and other Health and Beauty products. Am I the only one who doesn’t really care that much? When I use an organic stuff it is usually something to eat like oatmeal or cereal and things of that nature. When a study shows those things as causing cancer THEN you have my attention.

Rebate Checks: Straight to the Gas Tank?

My plan is for my rebate check to finish paying off my truck (Ford Ranger) so I can lower my insurance to liability only. That way, I will not have the car payment and my insurance will be lower so hopefully I will be able to afford gas for it. I have adjusted my driving habits, like many people, and will continue to do so as fuel prices rise. I do not plan on buying a hybrid or alternative fuel vehicle anytime soon because it doesn’t make sense to me to have the debt of another car payment just to save money on gas.

Ultimate gaming experience

This system could be used in more ways than just gaming. It is basically a Star Trek Holodeck which is just another example of Star Trek tech becoming reality. Cell phones are communicators, MRIs and CAT Scans are better versions of the beds in sick bay. I am waiting until someone invents the Transporter, of course I will wait until version 2.0 comes out before I give it a shot :)

Death to pedophiles

Anyone who molests children needs to be castrated at the least. I say execute the sorry bastards…and don’t give me any of that “it’s a mental defect” crap. This guy was arrested for trying to rape a 7 year old boy and then he gets paroled over the OBJECTION OF PSYCHOLOGISTS! So then he goes on to rape a 6 year old boy in a damn library while the kids mother is a few feet away. Ultimately this piece of crap is responsible for his own actions but I would like a few minutes alone with the parole board who approved letting him out in the first place.

Real-life Transformers

Here is another example of science fiction influencing real life. Much of Star Trek technology has come to pass…I wonder if the creators of the original Transformers in the 80s saw this coming.

I’ve seen numbers 10,6, and 3. Seven Samurai is an epic and classic masterpiece. The subtitles didn’t bother me, it is a must see.

Consumers pinching their pennies

I am working on living beneath my means and as cheaply as possible without sacrificing quality of life. I think that just makes sense and it takes a complete change in thought and habit to change your finances significantly. This article talks about
penny pinching in response to the current economic situation.

Saying this is something we should have been doing all along seems like a no-brainer but credit marketing, commercials, and the keep up with the Jones mentality have worked on our generation to the point that we often live paycheck to paycheck.

I am trying like hell to get out of debt and put something aside for these rainy days.

Simple (And Easy) Money Saving Tips For Frugal Living

I actually do almost all of the things on this list already. I have gotten good at living frugally or cheaply or whatever you wanna call it. I am trying to minimize and simplify in my life right now. I am working to pay off debt, get things ready for a yard sale, and donate other items. I am trying to live below my means since I have realized over recent years that having stuff does not mean I am successful. Love, friendship, and doing the things we enjoy means more than just buying stuff.
