Survey Finds Teenagers Ignorant on Basic History and Literature Questions

As a History Major in college I find this article sad but not surprising. The thing I would like to know is where these teenagers were called geographically and socially. If the calls were made to kids in specific or impoverished areas then this survey is not very accurate on a national scale. Too often a survey can be made to give whatever results the surveying group wants. It is similar to asking a group of 5 subject matter “experts” a question and getting 5 different answers.
