I don’t know what to think about this. I live in Montgomery and I don’t exactly think of it as an IT hub. The cost of living is low so I guess that makes up a lot of the difference.

I have no problem with these social networking sites being banned at school. Kids are at school to learn, not go to the library to check on their most recent comments on MySpace or upload pictures to their site. They spend enough time doing that stuff at home.

From my experience, this map is accurate. As a southerner, I use the term “Coke” to refer to Cola in general regardless of brand. I had some friends from Indiana who called is “Pop”. They asked my daughter if she wanted a Pop and she looked at me to see if it was something she would like.

I am glad there are people in the world who are smart enough, brave enough, and work hard enough to make the amazing medical breakthroughs. Who would have guessed that scorpion venom could be used to treat brain cancer?
