First we had the patent issues between RIM and NTP which came close to shutting down Blackberry service. Now we have another patent infringement lawsuit over eBay’s “Buy It Now” feature. Apparently, another company has a patent for buying auction items at a fixed price, even though they haven’t been in the auction business since 2000.
