So Dell is opening their third call center in India. Part of me thinks that we are screwing Americans out of work and damaging our economy by outsourcing service and manufacturing. We are losing our edge. Another part of me says that having call centers in India allows Dell to sell PCs so cheap. It’s all about the bottom line.

This is a nice list of freeware applications. You can find freeware to do just about anything you want to and there is no reason to pay for software for personal use.

I would drive one of these but I don’t think we will see them anytime soon. I would also wait for a year for other people to be guinea pigs and work out the kinks before I jump on the bandwagon.
