Air Force testing new transparent armor

Star Trek is a technology fortune teller. Remember the transparent aluminum Scotty orders up to transport the whales? It may now become a reality. Other Star Trek tech has come to pass. Think about it, communicators=cell phones, the diagnostic bed in sick bay=MRI/CATscan. I am waiting for the Transporter to make it big so I can save gas commuting to work.
